Balikbayan's Birthday

Balikbayan is a Filipino word that describes former residents who migrated overseas, also finds it interesting to visit from time to time.
My Ninag (Filipino word for godmother) who currently resides in New York for so many years wants to spend her 60th birthday here in Manila with her family. The came I made her was the same as my mom's however just looks more extravagant because I put all those chocolate curls on top and a few shavings of white chocolates.

I was actually bummed out during Ninang's Birthday Party because my mom forgot to bring the cake at the restaurant where we had her party! I was like Oh man! I spend sleepless nights finishing that and people didn't get to see and eat it! After few minutes in the party, I totally got over my sulking and really enjoyed myself :) And besides the important thing is Ninang enjoyed her party and of course the cake too when we got home :)
